NAWCAD Awards Palomar EP-3E Contract

April 2000 - Palomar received a contract for the first of many EP-3E shipsets of modified AN/AIC-34(V) Intercommunications Systems (ICS). Delivery is scheduled for December 2000. This contract is very significant for Palomar since the award reflects a decision by the US Navy to remove the AN/AIC-37 ICS that is built by another company and replace it with a Palomar system. Over the years, the Navy has come to the conclusion that the AN/AIC-34 is much simpler to expand and modify, plus Palomar's customer service is second to none.
